FUNDING STATEMENT. Ameri-Asia Charities, Inc. was incorporated 01Jan04 in the State of Washington.

The OBJECTIVE is to bring a change in the lives of the hopeless. Presently, children grow up in the slums or streets of India and elsewhere in the world with no hope.
As adults, they are illiterate and take the most menial tasks, if they can find work, just to stay alive. This hopelessness depresses the most ardent soul of them and many if not most turn to using drugs, alcohol, gambling, and tobacco, squandering the little they earn on these useless substances at the expense of their families. The women in turn take to being servants or also doing the most menial tasks, receiving a meager subsistence. Their husbands will all too often take this money from their wives to waste it on their addictions.
Children are forced to work long hours for little. Some run away. Older children turn to crime and gangs and eventually end up absconding or in jail.
This is where we enter the picture. We do our best to educate these children, so they will not be taken advantage of, from those who prey on them. Further, we give them nourishment as we are able, and pay for doctor visits and medicines. And we encourage hope and the will to succeed. There are just too many that need help. This is why we are organized, hoping to help them and more.

But we also assist the adults to survive and where needed - encouragement to change their lives. There are some wonderful gentle souls - little widows living in slums with not much more than the clothes on their frail bodies. For only a few dollars, they can get through another month, leaving us their blessings.

|
TAX DEDUCTIBILITY. Donations are tax deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). We are qualified by the IRS as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the IRC.
